Today's starter: Write down everything you remember about Moses.
We discussed this starter as a class to create some background knowledge of the account of Moses and the Children of Israel and how they escaped from slavery in Egypt. We discussed why this would be a story that American slaves could relate to.
We watched a ten minute video on the slave trade and plantation slavery. We handed in "Industry in the North" and began a new assignment, "The North and the South."
