Today's starter was:  The First Amendment to the Constitution states that people can practice their religion freely.  Does the U.S. and its people always allow the practice of any religion.  Why?  Give me examples.

After discussing the starter, Mr. Peterson introduced the Dutch Colony of New Amsterdam, the Puritan Colony of Massachusetts Bay, and the Quaker Colony of Pennsylvania.


We spent the last part of class preparing for the quiz next time.  To prepare for the quiz, you should know the information found on pages 5 & 6 of the Colonization Packet.
