Today's starter (your last starter, by the way - try not to cry too much): Write down one thing that you know about the Civil War that no one else knows. Or, less exciting, write down something you know about the Civil War.
Today we read an Encyclopedia Brown mystery.
We then looked at the North and the South at the beginning of the Civil War - focusing on the the strengths and weaknesses of their armies. We looked at some of the new weapon technology and how that shaped the war.
We continued to work on the Road to the Civil War and began working on The Civil War. We will have time to work on these next time - they will be due next time. These two assignments, and the starters, will be due next time and will likely be the last three assignments due for this term.
All late work is due on Tuesday the 29th of May.
